If I were a producer, I'd envision a movie where a Palastinian/Iraqi/Afghan child was sent to China with his parents' last dying capabilities as their countries were invades. This child studies engineering and becomes China's top military engineer. His designs win WWIII for China. The movie ends with his speech directed to the USA and Israel telling them that for committing endless crimes upon the helpless, this is the final price imposed upon them by one child who became not so helpless. Movie would take the world by storm.

That movie has to be made outside of the US and Hollywood. Those Judeo-Christians would NOT allow such movie be made.

There is obviously something wrong with CCTV

Look at this video taken by an amateur youtuber
It looks 2x clearer and the sky looks 10x bluer than the blurry gloomy mess that was CCTV's coverage of the aerials

Not to mention the shots during the marchpast, messy with terrible pacing, no synchronisation with narration. If you compare side by side with 2019 coverage, it is noticeably worse

AFAIK J-7s and J-8s have been retired as fighters. JJ-7 (which is technically a different aircraft) is only used as trainer, and there may be two brigades of the recon variant of J-8.
Actually, there seem to be both jj7 and j7E/G still serving in training brigades. And at least one non training j7g unit still considered to be active. (52nd brigade) at least that seem to have been the consensus a year ago. I don't know if there have been news since or some new satellite images of the base suggesting otherwise.

When I first saw that news I figured nah it can't be due to the parade, can't be that simple right? But now I'm not so sure. Suddenly MQ-28 Ghost Bat is all over the news:

All of these specifically make reference to the UADFs shown in the parade. I listened to Thursdays Chahuahui again because I remember Shilao and co talk at length about this and they too said even CCTV must have gotten instructions to pay special attention to the two UADFs and they very deliberately gave them a lot of screen time including focus on the tailless nature and the fact that the engines are real. They even got the March of Steel Torrent guy to compose the best track of the entire parade just for this part.

I think the parade is having an effect on the intended audience and causing a knee-jerk reaction. It may be similar in effect to the maiden flight of the two 6th gens last year because it's making US and friends realize these advanced CCAs are turning out to be another area they are behind in.

We should make a compilation of all the stuff they are behind in. Off the top of my head —
1) CCA.
2) Sixth Gen
3) AWAC
4) Cheap loitering munitions.
5) Laser/Microwave
6) hybrid powertrain for armored vehicles
7) hypersonic missiles

I think it was the timing. The sun was just at the right angle to saturate the ground cameras located around Tiananmen. The cloud cover was quite low that the cameras in the air were basically flying through the clouds. They need more advance weather controlling techniques to clear out the clouds in lower altitude and generate more clouds in higher altitude.
