Its interesting that PLA has advanced tailless unmanned fighter in service but still operate 100+ J-7 in several brigades.

PLAGF still operates type 59 relics while putting advanced 4th gen tank in service.

No country has the level of disparity in equipment generations.

The navy is the only force that doesn't operate ultra old relics. Everything is mostly brand new.

I mean.. if J7 can launch cruise missiles or long range missiles in the inner part of China, it wouldn't be in harms away. launch a few missiles then head back to the base to rearm itself. of course, the target is only ground objects.

J-7 can’t do either.

It can probably launch JDAMs after PLA has achieved air supremacy. That's the only real combat scenario I can envision.

Otherwise its mainly there to give 3rd/4th line unit pilots flytime while they wait for more advanced planes to produce and trickle down to them.

This child studies engineering and becomes China's top military engineer. His designs win WWIII for China. The movie ends with his speech directed to the USA and Israel telling them that for committing endless crimes upon the helpless, this is the final price imposed upon them by one child who became not so helpless. Movie would take the world by storm.

There is obviously something wrong with CCTV

Look at this video taken by an amateur youtuber
It looks 2x clearer and the sky looks 10x bluer than the blurry gloomy mess that was CCTV's coverage of the aerials

Not to mention the shots during the marchpast, messy with terrible pacing, no synchronisation with narration. If you compare side by side with 2019 coverage, it is noticeably worse
