Unmanned hellscape, a fantasy made real.
NGL, there is something inherently unexciting to me about unmanned systems.
Unmanned hellscape, a fantasy made real.
This concept is very interesting. I wonder how command and control work with those, I imagine they can receive and transmit in shallow water and rely on pre-programmed logics on deep submersion, wonder just how well it works in different scenarios like antishipping, asw patrol and so on.
Isnt kawasaki jet ski use same tech.?MARIC pumpjet.
What else could it be if not LFP? In terms of charging, safety and everything else.Two things come to my mind:
1. PLAN choose lithium iron phosphate battery. This was a question that we had in the subjects of energy storage of rail gun and submarine in comparison to Japan's choice.

yeah, communication with unmanned submarine will be pretty interesting. Basically, you have to either rely on China's network and China's buoys or basically communication will be very difficult.View attachment 139491
Shore-based/ship-based control center ->
SATCOM -> buoy -> UUV
or
long range underwater accustic communication link.
