These ships are affordable and should be procured in large numbers.
This Vessel still gives off huge test vehicle vibes, from the fact that it is an exhibition piece by CSSC and not the navy to the fact that it is being exhibited this way before being in service with the PLAN.
USN considers a notional Large USV to be around the ballpark of 1~2000 tons. The JARI-USV is only about 500 tons, roughly similar to the USV Vanguard launched earlier this year. What it does show, on the other hand, is that the PLAN is at least very interested in large USVs.

The Jari-USV-A aka "Orca" is 420 tons. The Jari USV is the original much smaller demonstrator, around 20 ts IIRC.
I'm not yet convinced these are built because PLAN has an interest in them. I try to stay open minded but these very much look like company-initiative demonstrators to me.
