Hey, maybe some Rostec representative read Deino's comment and decided to prove him wrong lol
I feel like there may be two different versions of the Su-57: one that’s a prototype with a rougher build and another on display that appears refined and polished. I hope you or someone knowledgeable can shed more light on this and clarify.

No, one is a prototype (T-50-4) and the other a static test airframe (507)

I'm surprised at the lack of security around the su-57 prototype, there's footage of walk around on twitter, there must be substantial difference between production model and prototype for them to not be worried.
It does not have proper stealth treatment like the production units. Surface finish should thus be much rougher.
The Su-57M should enter production in a couple of years as well. So even the innards will be replaced sooner rather than later.

Why would they bring such a rough looking aircraft for display? Even the random dude who filmed that video is pointing at joints that look rough. Why not bring a production unit which showcases the actual construction of production aircraft?

Outside of that, I think we are going to see some great displays at this years show!

Maybe because of the duty call?!

Seriously, they could have just not provided anything and no one would have noticed. This just seems like bad PR.
