Onto some lighthearted stuff, Curley G, one of the younger Chinese singers I really like, posted a lengthy congratulation notes to Eileen Gu on Weibo. The two girls actually have a lot in common. Curley's a Beijinger and Eileen Gu spent her summers in Beijing. They are both super close to their mother. And both their mothers graduated from PKU (Curley's father also graduated from PKU).
Maybe they'll meet sometime in the future. Imagine how those human rights hypocrites would react if the "human rights abuses defender" and "American traitor" Eileen Gu befriends a Uyghur girl who put her college education in the U.S. on hold to start a music career in China in midst of a supposed Uyghur genocide.

Because not even "Chloe Kim" chose to go back to S.Korea and represent her parents home country; she represented America and gave that country all the glory. Despite her golds for America the racist attacks didn't stop it actually INCREASED and it allegedly came from AMERICANS. So the few South Koreans that exhibit butt hurt attitude can take a hike.
They must hate her guts. If she represented the American team there would be at least one gold medal by now. So far it is not looking good.
What’s so unfair? South Koreans are notorious for their hijinks on ice. If I’m not mistaken they slashed up the face of a Chinese competitor (massive blood loss) and got away with it too.
