We had a chance to grab bronze but that Canadian De Grasse was just too quick.

Japan messed up the baton passing, so that was good.

Japan came into the finals with the slowest time which was why they were in the outermost lane.

The thing with sprint events is that you get punished for the slightest mistake you make.

Chinese team would've had a chance to medal if not for the anchor runner Wu suddenly slowing down to get the baton from Su.

I did not watch the race, but did he think he was going to pass the point where the baton change had to change hands?
Great javelin gold medallist. So graceful yet so powerful. Our first gold in this event.

But according to prominent Academics, pundits, and medi organizations in the U.S. China has sent 777 athletes into this Olympics. I don't have a clue where the f..k are they getting this figure from, unless they're conflating the total number of delegates from China which includes the coaches, trainers etc..

The idea is to propagate the propaganda that China is only able to send a team that is strong only in numbers. These are not my words but the exact words of a western commentator when I first had the chance to watch the Olympics on TV eons ago.
