drill enters 2nd day
I just have to butt in and say that I don't buy the whole "russian navy paint job is intimidating etc" BS. Their paint scheme of their cold war era ships look just that -- cold war era and antiquated. The paint jobs of their newer ships look much better... but even then I will unashamedly say I think the PLAN's colours are very very good too. The stark white is almost like anti flash white that bombers once flew with, and gives an air of professionalism and purity almost.
I can't wait to see 052D decked out in those colours. Hell, I can't wait for 055.

Great pics, the one on my wish list would be an overview shot of the entire Chinese-Russian CTF sailing full speed in formation on the open seas.

Good thing they didn't shoot that surveillance plane down.... but a couple of bullet holes would have bee nice.
