Trimaran have good deck space and probably more stable platform but that's it, in terms of internal space (for LCAC, helicopters, vehicle, stores and men) it ain't as efficient. Besides, the internal space is to shelter all those things from the elements...unless you've absolutely no idea how rough open sea can get.
If all you want is a larger deck -- you can go with a trimaran configuration, with large superstructure on the front part of the ship, like US LCS-2. Instead of having a large well deck, hang LCAVs underneath the trimaran wing. This way, you will have a larger deck plus large LCAV operating capability.
