Two starboard and one port?

That would be unprecedented for and LPH, LHD, or LHA. Even the US Wasp and America class each only has two.

Nope, there's only two elevators in that picture. Look closer at the aft starboard 'elevator'. It's a VLS module. Just like the one on the port side forward.

That is one of the more unlikely to be real CGs -- post 93's one correlates far more with the model we see.

no doubt its just a matter of time before we see a Chinese LHD, China has been interested in them for years and will finally make one sooner or later to compliment their Type 071 LPDs

6 x Type 071 LPDs and 3 x LHDs would be a good inventory for China, 2 x Type 071 LPDs and 1 x LHD for each of the sea fleets maybe SSF can take bit extra

maybe, but for such aircraft its better suited to likes of Wasp class LHDs, which are the size of normal countrys aircraft carriers or Japanese 22DDH class destroyer, which we know is not a destroyer, but i do not know if China has a plan to make LHDs that big

But Asif, may be Chinese are using J20 & Varyag to camouflage J18 & LHD & we get a surprise package by 2015 in the shape of LHD + J18s.

The Koreans have 2 DOKDO class LPHs. And according to wiki they will build two more. Wiki is not always a good source of information.

The Dokdo Class of LPH are named after Korean islands deemed important or symbolic to the ROK Navy. ROKS Dokdo (LPH-6111) is named after the Dokdo islets, a small group of islands under Korean administration.

The second unit, the ROKS Marado, is named after Marado Island, commonly thought of as being both the ending and beginning point of Korea. Today a monument stands there recognizing it as the southernmost point of the country.

The third unit is to be named after Baengnyeong Island, which is located in the Yellow Sea near the disputed Northern Limit Line (NLL) with North Korea. Baekryeong Island is the territory administered by South Korea that is closest to the NLL. It was an important military base and the site of fierce combat during the Korean War.

The forth unit is named after Ieodo, a small disputed island off the coast of Jeju Island.
