She's going to be a very sleek and nice OPV design.
Can't wait to see her floated out and outfitted.
I expect the PLAN is going to build a lot of these...sort of like their LCS.
In a few weeks we will see her launched. I expect they are going to churn out quite a few of these pretty quickly if they want to.Main gun installed on the type 056:

Is it just the angle of the photo shot, or does the colour of the bridge and the tower appears different is this photo? Meaning, have they painted part of the ship? ... or is it just the angle of the shot making the steel or aluminium structure appears more "dull" (colour) compare to earlier photo.
Doesn't look significantly different to me (if you look at post #364). The paint does look different and more metallic, reflecting compared to the type 054A beside it. Or maybe there is another layer of surface paint after this.
