yes, and those boxes on top the bridge are very big. They are the same length as the width of the X-band array panels.
I think you mistaken the X-band panel width with X-band antenna size determined by wavelength of X-band. The X-band array (under the panel) has many TR modules in a row. The size of each module is determined by the wavelength, not the whole array.
L band is 1 to 2 Ghz corresponding wavelength 30 to 15 cm. That means each L band TR module is no larger than 30 cm. The boxes are around 3 meters or longer, large enough.
X-band is 8 to 12 Ghz, wavelength 3.75 to 2.5 cm (1/10 of L band). That is around the size of a TR module which is essentially a power IC chip.
