Aha! 3 holes, just like on the mockup. A lot of CGI's tried to consolidate the top 2 holes into one. Clearly that was a mistake....

I admit I had to look back at the original pictures to even realize where the ellipses would show, then look at the closeups again, and check the original pictures ... I mean I wouldn't have noticed anything without the ellipses in the closeups

Those holes can be for anything; radar arrays, ESM arrays, optical passive sensors, ECM arrays, among others...
