And an older photo of the structure undergoing some sort of scaled test, possibly wind tunnel.
I suppose in a while we will need an 054A successor thread, and I expect the 055 thread would be stickied as well.
In fact I'm surprised this thread, the 052 thread, and the submarines thread aren't all stickied.

He's talking about the white dome thingy behind the carrier building if I'm not mistaken.

Don't know why but that dome reminds me of the Kolkata Class DDG radar mast
Or a mariachi.
Probabaly because they are in fact failry similar in appearance:
We do not know the exact scale, but there is a resemblance.
Several newer surface combatant vessels have that look. The Darings, the Horizons, the FREMMS, Sachsen, etc.
