The captions on the top of the graph from left to right are as follows: chronological order, pennant number, ship name, shipyard (黄埔 is Huangpu, 沪东 is Hudong), launched date, commissioned date, fleet (东 is East, 南 is South, 北 is North).

Makes you wonder, since there are eight for the South and East fleets each, whether they will go ahead and build eight for the North fleet too...and therefore a total of 24 vessels.

Here's what I have for the same info in English:

I agree with most of what you said.

But now would be a good time to assess the surface forces of JMSDF and PLAN respectively, I think.

JMSDF:

PLAN:
It just so happens that we have a thread on SD dedicated to this very topic: HERE.

You should post your analysis there.

There is currently a very good fleet of Type 054A in service with PLAN, four Flotillas with two at SSF, one each at ESF and NSF

We can see that two more Flotillas are due to built so thats two Flotillas per fleet and as a matter of fact one complete Flotilla is already under construction because have seen 20 units in some stage of construction now

Next year we will know if the 6th Flotilla will be completed
