Colonel
So far wiki gives the number of 11 of them being comissioned and 2 others launched.
So 15 so far plus the two more we see here in dry dock(?)

It's not a PS, right?

The newest 054 in that picture looks like it has two smoke stacks or something (those two grey things?).

seems PS, no scaffoldings, grey paint, and suspicious red pillar (probably port crane pillar from other ship pic in port)

Actually, there is scaffolding (just not that much because the ship is in early stages of construction -- no mast or sensors for scaffolding yet), and the grey paint is not suspicious at all (modular construction means some parts are painted earlier than others, we see that with the 054A mast often).

However the red pillar is an indication it could/likely/almost certainly a PS(?). If you compare the pillar with the one in this picture, almost everything looks the same. The below pic is probably what it was psed from?

going through previous pics, I take back what I said about the smoke stacks -- one is a smoke stack, the other is the mast lol. For some reason I always thought the mast was the red stump

This is 100% PS, the hull don't even match up with the building. If you want to see what a really good PS looks like just look at the picture you quote with four 054As, that's an awesome PS.

People here are mentioning type 058 cruiser. Is this another fantasy like the type 048 carrier ??

Check the speculation thread. I normally don't go around assuming randomly written charts as possibly true, but this one seems quite comprehensive. The fact that franco russe is putting some of his weight behind it doesn't hurt (even though it's a fallacy of appealing to authority in a way, but oh well).

So no, not exactly "fantasy" (we dont' know anything about it apart from possibly its standard displacement and numerical name), but rather something to consider (along with the 052D and so called 059 new frigate) in the rare occasions when we find ourselves discussing future fleet compositions. Imho at least.

Are they stopping the production of 054A? I hope not, 16 054A is too little. Given the current sea dispute situation. At least 24 054A are needed.

I dont think that china has any interest in getting cruisers. If they wanted, they would have them by now. The first one could well have been that unfinished slava class ship that ukraine got after the colapse of the SU. China could have bought that together with varyag, but choose not to. Besides, china has already built military ships far bigger than a cruiser. Why would they wait so long to built them if they desired them?

But i believe that 052D is on the drawing board. Not bigger than 052C, but more advanced. You dont need arleigh burke sized ships to sail the oceans.
