yeah, I saw this photo. I'm not convinced that it was taken recently, since a 056 was hiding behind the 7th HP 054A before it was launched, so I'd expect that to be launched first.

If any one doubt the capability of chinese shipbuilding industry to execute a series build using modern ship building assembly techniques. 054A series is a good answer to that.

I've heard that during the second world war the united states was able to build a carrier each month.

Yes, if not 3 per two months. But to clarify I remember this kind of carrier were "Light carrier", not the same thing as the ones been for battle of mid-way.

Still, different categories, same awesomeness, US and China.
