Thanks, very interesting and actually sounds quite sensible.

SSF’s 2 Destroyer Flotilla has the two newest 051 plus the 051B, no need to replace any of them yet.

But I am pretty sure that if ESF gets all four 052C, they will soon scrap the four 051 of 6 Destroyer Flotilla, which were built between 1977 and 1983. If 3 and 6 Destroyer Flotillas will each have 2 Pr. 956, 2 052C and 4 054(A), there is no room for those old-timers.

It was known that all four 053H2G would go to 8 Frigate Squadron at Wusong, where 539 and 540 are already. But it is new that the four 053H3 will go to 3 Frigate Squadron at Ningde. That is where four Type 056 were expected to go!

I certainly hope so -- PLAN destroyers should have a larger gun in line with current and future ships.
they should look into developing an extended range precision guided round for this larger gun too.

Hmm yes I actually think it's the same 730 on the left one, the covering makes it look like something else.
