it just launched in the last couple of days I think. It's very recent. I have a picture of its launched photo from 2 days ago.

Thanks. That is nearly eight months after Hull 3. It has more or less taken the place left by the WOZANG class minehunter Hull 2.

Got this from Huitong's.Shows it very clear and simple for likes of me.QUOTE]

Can you tell me where to find the naval part of Huitong's site? Nowadays, I only get the aviation part.

It turns out, by the way, that 113 was converted 2009-10 at Qingdao-Jiaonan, where there is a small naval yard just north of the naval port (113 is lying in the drydock with 37 mm turrets and 518 radar removed in the GE 2010 update).

Well, first of all a WOCHI class minesweeper (Hull 5) about to be launched.

Behind it, 052C Hull 7 on Building Way 2.

On Building Way 1, a probable naval auxiliary.

052B/C hull 7 or 052C hull 7?

I concur about it being some sort of auxiliary, the angles, both on the bow and the superstructure do not look right for it being a combatant. I would further suggest that given the ongoing long range Chinese deployments (Pirate hunting accompanied by a brief foray into the med) the that the relative lack of Chinese construction of replenishment ships looks somewhat odd.

I too wondered about both these points. Surely it's 052B/C.

Is it possible they are building enough for their needs and maybe we haven't got to hear of all of them due to their lower profile than the destroyers ,frigates etc.?

I wish so much for sinodefence.com to be updated so that i can easily check these things.
