Looks like the tv antenna is there to stay in the D series.

I think 18 cell RAM.

That and that awkward looking turret are the only eye sores on an otherwise graceful design.

It's already been confirmed that the HQ-10 is a 24 shot launcher...

We don't even have to count the missile tubes if the picture is too fuzzy, simply compare the launchers shape with that of the 18 shot HQ-10 on the liaoning...

18 or 24 shot either way is there automated reloading or is it manual?

I still feel that the design could have used one more Type 730 just in case.

On my last visit I saw the 052C have a crane (covered) but there're no hatches that're to bring extra missiles up from the storage below deck to reload. Thus far, all available image shows it is reloaded at port. Think they agreed with the US approach of removing the crane slots from the Mk 41 VLS, use all available space for more shots. The same goes for the VLS on the 054A FFGs, that said, it'd be logical to take the same approach on the 052D as well.

To be honest though, if it got into a situation that needs to reload those SAMs, things would be blown into a major engagement that requires escalated response, like sending in more ships or flew in jets from land baese to give it cover to rotate out those expended ships with fresh ones.
