This appears to be an early design. The rear fins are different from the newer photos including the export PL-10E

Indeed ! ... so it is a much older design and as such the serial makes sense again !!

Thanks a lot.

J-10A

in many sources is 550km, Is it true? This means that half Combat radius of MiG-35 with 2 engine ? !

Don't think the specifications for the J-10B are out. Even for the J-10A I am not sure about the official "Combat Radius". Can someone translate the below figures for the J-10A?

Values for length, width, height are the same but others vary.

Combat radius is 1100km, normal range is 1650km. I presume the latter figure takes into account maximum load whereas the former is given for a CAP loadout or something similar.

Key point is, basically J-10B or C in front of J-10A have improved Combat radius? For example one country that wants to choose between MiG-35 and J-10B or C, short combat radius is bad negative Score in front of Mig-35 with to engine or jas-39E
AND ONE MAIN QUESTION, USE THE US OR ISRAELI COMPONENTS IN J-10, THIS IS TURE?

Combat radius figures really depend on mission. The same plane will have vastly different combat radius figures if they were carrying a CAP load and doing hi-hi-hi as opposed to a heavy AG load doing hi-Lo-hi or even lo-lo-lo.

So just looking at a figure without context is pretty much meaningless.

As for US or Israeli components on the J10, well that is quite obviously and categorically no. It's actually more likely that US and Israeli jets would have Chinese components.

In end of 80s, A high-level delegation that j-10 chief designer with it, visited of lavi project. In 2008 Jean's website Reported Israel transfer many technology of lavi project radar and avionics to china. Like pl-8 missile or harpy uav.
And now some claim that part of j-10 avionics Provided by elbit system and some USA company

About the Combat radius. Each aircraft have Specified Combat radius for example basic version of jas-39 combat radius 800km whereas smaller than mig-29 and j-10A and carry the short fuel .
