You totally don't get it. For generations Chinese immigrants have pursued a better future for themselves or their descendants through migration. There is nothing wrong with this. Up until the last decade or so, I would say most of them make a sound decision.
However, it doesn't mean they should blindly think their adopted countries want and accept them. For decades, Chinese Americans abandoned their heritage and language and embrace Christian but Chinese Americans still are most discriminated group. In addition, what happened to those SEA nations Chinese immigrants should have proven that money and wealth and laws mean nothing when guns and army are in the hands of other groups. Remember hundreds of thousands Chinese that were forced to flee and equal number of Chinese that got massacred.
More importantly, why you think other minorities would support Chinese Americans in the fight against racism. Most recent racist attacks are done by Latinos and African Americans because of MSM's propaganda. Remember Chinese Exclusive Act, who had spoken up for Chinese and to this day did any Chinese got compensated for this bizarre discrimination.
If the MSM declared war against Chinese, you can bet Latinos, Blacks and other Asian Americans and even many Chinese Americans would jointly attack Chinese. It is totally naive to think you can join up with other minorities. Chinese are on their own as we can see nobody speaks up for Chinese as Florida's bill shows us.
