Instead of asking the question why when the US spent 800 billions a year on military but still fallen way short of war readiness, the US MSM and military again use fear mongering to ask for more money. NYT should ask where are the money is but NYT as part of corrupted MSM would not dare to seek truth. As the US military has been spending thousands to procure cup each, billions to fund failed pet projects and more money is siphoned to middle of no where with endless wars.
Lastly, when both the US and EU are so obsessed with projection that their procurement is mainly directed at expensive war ships and fighter jets so that they could go around the world to wage war, you no wonder why the US and EU caught off guard by not having enough ammunition for a real war.
