This stealing oil is narrative built to sneer at Americans. This oil provide employment to locals and the location is such it is not very nice place to reside weather wise and without significant force structure to manage it when population is hostile. it is the part closer to Saudi thinking. Syria still country where minority is head for too long.

I've said this before that Americans contrary to what they say they value, they want to control communication between people. They want English only because they want to know what people are saying. They don't like Huawei because it's about communication technology they don't control. They hate the Xi-Putin meeting and the Saudi-Iran deal deal because they weren't a part of it knowing what was going on and didn't have a say. They tell black people Asians are racist and then tell Asians blacks are the ones behind anti-Asian violence in the US. They don't want anyone communicating with one another without their permission and their involvement.
Divide and conquer has historically been the go-to strategy for the U.S since its inception. I’m not sure if the American sense of entitlement (such as demanding people speak English) is the cause or the result.

Uncle Sam ain't going like it, Lula means business with this trip to China.

I thinks its fair to say that China has completely outplayed the US in this round. Really shambolic performance by the Americans

Brazil president to propose Ukraine ‘peace club’ on China visit

Lula seeks diplomatic role as Latin American nations resist aligning with west over conflict
Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will propose a “peace club” with China to mediate an end to the conflict in Ukraine when he travels to Beijing this week to meet President Xi Jinping.
"We are very interested in promoting or helping generate some kind of meeting that would lead to a peace process,” Mauro Vieira, Brazil’s foreign minister, told the Financial Times in an interview.

“The president has said so many times he hears a lot about war but very few words about peace. He is interested in peace conversations.”
Lula said earlier this year he would promote the idea of a group of mediating countries, saying “it is time for China to get its hands dirty”. “My suggestion is that we create a group of countries that try to sit at the table with Ukraine and Russia to try to find peace,” he added.

Speak for yourself. Last time I checked there are still several popular Chinese apps that they can ban for national security concerns.

Temu: delaying Sino-American decoupling by peddling cheap Chinese crap.
Shein: undergarment uses spy chips to send classified information on size of government official genitals to the SeeSeePee.
WeChat: people actually post Xi Jinping Thoughts on there.
