I think this was posted around two weeks ago. Still. In China there is an insult “you only made a shell” for a manufactured good with very little original domestic content. At least those who could only make shells could be contented with the knowledge that some can’t even make a shell correctly.
People can decide to just stop using it. Whatever happen to freedom of choice?
Likely , these sneaky people will pass some sketchy law prevent isp or brands with working with tiktok which isn't a ban but make tiktok usa impossible to operate. IMO, China should retaliate by doing what has happen to McDonalds in Russia. Take the store, take the supplier, and toss out the Brand/Franchise.

Let's not kid ourselves of what is happening here.
1. Philippines has a problem with China with some islands in South China Sea.
2. Philippines wants the US Navy, the JMSDF, and RAN, to come patrol the area, and potentially start World War 3.
3. Why the navy of those countries? It is too far away for coast guard.
4. Why does the Philippines not do it themselves? They don't got a navy.
5. Why would the United States, Japan, and Australia, start World War 3, on behalf of the Philippines who do not even have a navy?
6. Okay, this is getting too much, kind of bizarre. Russia and Ukraine at war. Philippines wants the same kind of thing to happen here, but they do not have to fight, because they don't have the navy to do it, so all the others will solve the problem for them.
7. The Chinese are trying to bait the Americans to get involved. Then turn on the water cannon!

Every few months Macron want to visit Africa. it devalues a person when nothing practically change.
France could not deliver vaccine to Africans when it mattered. Francophone can easily turned against France if things are not sorted out. There plenty of wealth centers now in world that can provide even better services like medical system. This climate change will further decrease France soft power but no one will blame that one country that brought Europe to such a state.
