I think the Chinese CIA assets will survive with 100-150 latency , in worst case they won't play online FPS games, but concentrate to coordinate the destabilisation of the Chinese society .

It is not the gorund stations that needs to be disabled, but the satelites.

And due to the high number of them they will generate an unpassable debris cloud. If not the starlink then the Chinese or Russian one, when the USA start to shoot them down.
What are you talking about? There won't be any electricity power in Taiwan or surrounding regions that might support it. And China will have 24/7 EW aircraft coverage jamming signals. That's before we talk about the satellites themselves that China will have ASAT weapons for if Elon doesn't play ball. This is a non issue. If you want to discuss further on this, we have a Taiwan thread.

I have no idea what happened here. Someone put a grenade right into the tank. My impression is deliberate fratricide.

TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM - A recording was circulating on Social Media Telegram on Wednesday (7/12/2022).

The footage shows the destruction of a Polish-supplied Ukrainian T-72M1 tank.
One of the soldiers deliberately kept a grenade in the parked tank.
As a result, the T-72M1 tank immediately exploded causing a huge flame.
Until this video circulated, it was not known for certain how many victims died in this incident.
However, this recording has received various comments from netizens.
Isn't this standard procedure before you abandon a vehicle, to drop a explosives or grenades inside it to destroy sensitive equipment or hardware? There are a few videos of abandoned Russian vehicles with grenade shrapnel damage in the passenger compartment. You wouldn't say that is "fratricidal" would you...

Yep. This SOP is common among most militaries. In the US, tankers use thermite to do so. In this case, the tank most likely got disabled.

The situation in Bakhmut, latest from @milchronicle.

According to the Military Chronicle, the Land Forces of Ukraine recorded an unprecedented surge in the number of wounded in the Kupyansky, Gorlovka directions and in the battles for Bakhmut.

Ukrainian servicemen are admitted to hospitals with serious blood loss, most soldiers undergo amputations in the first two to four hours after being delivered to the hospital. First aid to the wounded often requires transfusions of six to seven doses of blood, which has led to a shortage of blood and plasma in hospitals. Transportation of blood, plasma and medicines is difficult due to the lack of transport, including armored vehicles.

It is almost impossible to fill the blood shortage on the ground: most soldiers on the front line suffer from chronic kidney diseases, lungs, bacterial and viral infections, including intestinal and pulmonary infections, as well as hepatitis and severe COVID-19. The soldiers are seriously weakened due to poor nutrition and prolonged exposure to dampness and cold.

Due to the long wait for evacuation, at least 25% of Ukrainian soldiers are admitted to hospitals with advanced brain injuries, pulmonary edema, hypothermia and blood infections, which excludes even the possibility of a transfusion.

The lack of blood in the APU has already affected survival. Under current conditions, getting a light wound in 90% of cases means worsening to a serious one, and of the surviving severe ones, more than half become disabled and do not return to service.

Vehicle looks perfectly fine to me. There was no indication from its surroundings that the tank was under fire of any sort. This means this was a perfectly running vehicle which could potentially retreat on its own power. If this was an abandonment, the crew abandoned a perfectly fine vehicle.

Ukrainian prisoners captured of late. I would assume this is in the Bakhmut vicinity.

TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM - The war Russia and Ukraine has now entered its tenth month. However, the conflict between neighboring countries is still continuing. The most recent recording circulating on Telegram on Thursday, December 8, 2022 shows dozens of Ukrainian troops in full uniform being held by the Russian Army. The prisoners appear to lie face down with their hands on their heads and show no resistance. They followed the orders of the Russian soldiers. Unfortunately, the location of the arrest was not explained. Allegedly they were captured in the vicinity of the Ukrainian fortress. The recording also reaped various comments from netizens. Until now, there has been no sign of peace between the two. Ukraine itself is reported to have carried out a retaliatory attack on Russian territory. Kyiv is also reported to have started to push back Moscow forces in the South and East.

Situation with the Ukrainian wounded. These ones were already captured or surrendered to the Russians.

The impact of the fighting in Donbass which broke out again, left several victims injured and died. As experienced by some of these Ukrainian soldiers, fate befell them. In the midst of an atmosphere of tension that had not subsided, the Russian military swiftly provided aid to their injured colleagues. It was seen that they lifted the victims into an ambulance and took them to get medical treatment immediately. The video that has been widely circulated on Twitter has been flooded with various comments from netizens.(*)

t wouldn't do you any good since it still needs ground stations within 500 km, but even if it didn't, it can still be jammed easily

500 miles tho so it's bit farther from that.

Still, I'm curious if Starlink terminal provides Geolocation of itself. This could actually allow Russians to attempt cracking the ground station for geolocation information of the terminal Thus Ukrainian C3 nodes or whoever using that can be discovered.

If the update rate is fast enough then moving starlink emitter e.g the Ukrainian suicide boat can be found too.
