When I was a wee lad food stamp was still a thing in China, although even by then in the late 80s you get so many stamps that no one could possibly eat all the food that you could buy with the stamps you get. Although other stamps were still economically relevant.

So pretty much if inflation keeps going expect to see shady markets where guys in trench coats go up to you and go "pssst, want to trade food stamps for TV stamps?" and so on.
We are almost at dollar euro parity, this was unimaginable 2014, US lapdogs will sell out their countries for america points, so that the EU politicians can retire in florida.

Never encountered such unpatriotic fools like the EU leadership...

When the U.S. openly creates military alliance cliques like the Quad and AUKUS these actions are almost exclusively interpreted as America exercising it's "LEADERSHIP" and the media happily trumpets and are gleeful that China is being caged or contained by American power with no regards to China's own interest; it's right to pursue it's own development path and partnerships with any countries within her periphery and elsewhere. Any actions China take must always take the WHITE WESTERN NATIONS interests above China's own first and foremost otherwise it risks alienating western countries "concerns" which always leads one with any sense of objectivity is that China isn't allowed to be a normal country whatsoever period.

China can't be allowed regardless of it's political structure to realize and develop it's fullest potential without any machinations from the west. Democratization is just another way for any western influence to stymied, distract, foment endless chaos and debate about nonsensical issues to ensure a log jam, a paralysis within the decision making apparatus of the government.

Just my opinion, and that is the imperialism never really went away.

Sure, there are no more colonies, but the way the system is, in a way, to exert control seems just as effective for the people pulling the levers.

The rise of China, will definitely break all of this.

Just like Chairman Mao said, to make an omelette you gotta break a few eggs.

Pretty sure that is how the CCP see things too. Long live Chairman Mao!

A few other things are fishy as well…
There is a shot of some soldiers indoors with QBZ95 pointed ostensibly in the direction of a detainee, but really the way they are grouped would just kill their fellow guards. Furthermore, assault rifle indoors is just dumb. Also, why would they need soldiers at all?

Also, it’s incredibly convenient to have such disparate types of information all stored on a random “camp server”, speeches? Why would there be so many copies of speeches?

The government is using PowerPoint? Not OpenOffice or KingSoft?

English on a QBZ95 user guide?

Just like the wrong characters, these are minute details, but also the ones that don’t make much sense.

I don't know why countries put restrictions on GMO in the first place, I know that some GMO are toxic because of the crops producing toxic insecticide chemicals, but this is a problem of safety testing and regulation of the companies not because GMO inherently bad. Hopefully more countries would look into allowing and investing GMO crops in the future, in order to deal with a world with worsening climate and environment conditions.

I'm not sure if they understand this but food vouchers only help if the limit on food is supply of currency caused by inequality.

Food vouchers do not magically cause food to appear where there was no food previously. All it does is cause food inflation if food supply is fixed, and most European countries are running at maximum food production capacity, limited by their supply of fertilizer and arable land.
I think the theory is that, there are actually a lot of food getting spoiled or straight to the bin. So giving voucher allows low income people to consume them, otherwise they would be wasted.

If you're talking about the picture I think you're talking about, you'll also notice that the QBZ95s don't have magazines in them. The guy in the back is also trying to hold it like a pistol.

This is because CPC soldiers now kill minorities by force choking them like Darth Vader. The rifles are simply for decoration.

Unless they are federally owned by each nation then no. I rather not have Monsanto hold a sword over your head because they own the patents and rights to the seeds. Neither should anyone be interested in letting GMO companies control entire nation’s food supply. That also include huge leverage given to the country where the GMO company resides. Anyone fancy letting the US determine if they should continue selling you seeds?

Still others say that they don’t use Monsanto’s genetically modified seeds, but seeds have been blown into their fields by wind or deposited by birds… Even if a farmer doesn’t buy G.M. seeds and doesn’t want them on his land, it’s a safe bet he’ll get a visit from Monsanto’s seed police if crops grown from G.M. seeds are discovered in his fields.

Definitely, the regulations and laws should make it so that the companies and other countries have less control and power over the nation's food supply. There needs to be a global agreement on how GMO patents and rights is to be settled, people shouldn't starve just because Monsanto want to earn a little more cents or because US wants to sanction a country.
