That reminds me of my own experience. I met an American during my dive trip in Greece. We went out on a small boat in a group. We started a friendly conversation about life in Europe and America. Then when the conversation got deeper, he asked about Chinese Christians. I told him, there are some but not many and I am not (without any judgemental talk). He then said "Chinese people are nice, but lost lamb and miss God's message". I turned my head and looked at him for a second without any facial expression (at least I think so). But I think he "saw" me saying "you must lost your fxxking mind". Then came the absolute silence during the rest of the journey. BTW, the boat was small, there is no place to walk away. Now I think about it, I was probably very brutal. :D

Well at least the trip went smoothly-ish, he could have knifed you for being heretic.

All kinds of facts have shown that accusations against China's Xinjiang fabricated by the United States and some other Western countries are totally smearing, said Hung Hsiu-chu, former chairperson of the Chinese Kuomintang party.

Hung made the remarks following her recent visit to several places in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Xinjiang is a harmonious, joyful, diverse and inclusive society, Hung said, adding that the United States and some other Western countries have fabricated lies about the so-called "forced labor" and "genocide" in Xinjiang in order to undermine China's internal unity, but China will not be breached by it from within.

After visiting an exhibition on anti-terrorism and de-radicalization in the regional capital Urumqi, Hung said people in Xinjiang once suffered great harm from terrorism and extremist ideologies, and the anti-terrorism and de-radicalization measures that Xinjiang has taken have helped those once poisoned by extremist ideologies to gain a correct understanding of law and religion, and improve the living standards of their families through learning skills.

Hung said the trip to the region makes her feel that Xinjiang is a harmonious society, where different ethnic groups respect each other. "As they say, all ethnic groups remain closely united like the seeds of a pomegranate that stick together," she said.

During her visit, Hung had in-depth exchanges with religious figures, graduates of vocational education and training centers, teachers and students, and employees from ethnic groups working in textile enterprises.

All kinds of facts show that the accusations against Xinjiang made by the United States and some other Western countries are totally smearing, Hung said. "They do not want to see the rise of China, and deliberately undermine China's internal unity in this way," she added.

She said, through her visit, she found that Xinjiang is a harmonious, joyful, diverse and inclusive society, which is totally different from the lies concocted by the United States and some other Western countries.

KMT siding with the mainland :)

(ECNS) -- China has discovered a new oil well with a daily output of 1,000 ton of oil and gas equivalent in the Tarim Basin of northwestern Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, according to China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), the country's largest oil and gas producer, on Tuesday.

Adding to the existing seven, the newly discovered Manshen 3-H7 oil well has a daily output of 987 cubic meters of crude oil and 390,000 cubic meters of gas.

The Fuman Oilfield, where the well is situated, is the main block for crude oil production in the Tarim Oilfield. It has produced more than 7 million metric tons of oil since 2014, representing the largest oilfield with the best benefit built in China within a depth of 7,500 meters.

Covering over a 10,000-square-kilometer area in the heart of the Taklimakan Desert, the Fuman Oilfield contains more than 1 billion metric tons of oil and gas resources.

The Tarim Oilfield has 19 large and medium-sized gas fields that supply about 31.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year, accounting for one-sixth of the national total, according to CNPC.

Time for Western propaganda to go into overdrive :p
Current KMT unfortunately consider Hung an outlier among themselves, she doesn't speak for the party.
In fact KMT on Taiwan continues to lose support:

Which is fine in my opinion. Once they are extinct the only branch of KMT to remain alive will be Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang in mainland. And this would be a final victory of the revolutionaries with in KMT against the KMT reactionaries.

Regarding the recent Xinjiang document, here is a rather detailed discussion about some of the peculiar simplified Chinese/traditional Chinese/Japanese characters in it, and the possible role played by Taiwan:

Part of the documents is not properly formatted, which makes it looking informal/unofficial.
And now they are editing the site lol:

Next step soup kitchens.
I'm not sure if they understand this but food vouchers only help if the limit on food is supply of currency caused by inequality.

Food vouchers do not magically cause food to appear where there was no food previously. All it does is cause food inflation if food supply is fixed, and most European countries are running at maximum food production capacity, limited by their supply of fertilizer and arable land.

So Hungary declares a state of emergency and give themselves emergency powers. Now they are redirecting “extra profits” from big firms to the military budget and social programs? What exactly are they preparing for or is this just a way to line their own pockets with cash.
So they go from Nazi to communist to "democratic" for a few years, decides nah this isn't working, and go back to the original?

When I was a wee lad food stamp was still a thing in China, although even by then in the late 80s you get so many stamps that no one could possibly eat all the food that you could buy with the stamps you get. Although other stamps were still economically relevant.

So pretty much if inflation keeps going expect to see shady markets where guys in trench coats go up to you and go "pssst, want to trade food stamps for TV stamps?" and so on.
