Applying RAM in various places. And of course we're not sure that's conclusive, unless we can sneak away a J-11B and put it on a RCS test range. But it's certainly a number we should keep in mind.
I wonder how accurate these things are. Russians make the same claims about the RCS reduction techniques on Su-35 on Su-30MKI and such. I think the only thing I get out of this is that there are some RCS reduction been applied.

They've been saying that since the beginning of the year... So far we haven't seen anything. Kudos to SAC's tight security!

In terms of possible reactions from some neighbors, one can see some good reasons why PLA may want to be even more secretive with a 3.5th gen Strike J11BS than with an air dominance 4th gen like J20.

Interesting!

Tphuang brought up Lianyungang (LYG) in connection with naval J-11 some time ago.

But 8 Ftr Div is a South Sea Fleet unit, based at Jialai on Hainan.

The pictures do not really suggest an operational J-11B base, so what is going on?

All J-11B apart from lot 00 for 1 Ftr Div are equipped with WS-10A Taihang, so nothing surprising that these quite new planes have it.

Ah but franco, it never gets old seeing flankers equipped with indigenous chinese engines given the lengthy wait we all faced :3

Can't wait for eventual J-10 production to feature WS-10s as well
