Another French Revolution.
Just wait until the EU and China trade war starts. Those air conditioners will be sanctioned!

Are they begging for another French Revolution?Make my words — this is literally gonna end up killing people. I recall that a few years ago people in London literally died during a heatwave or around 85 degrees Fahrenheit. This is gonna be so much worse and they do stupid shit like banning air conditioning…
Yeah but can the average Chinese talk smack about Xi Jinping in a one-hundred degree office building? Checkmate Wumaos.Any population that tolerates this degree of authoritarian state interference in their daily lives without daring to even let out a fart in protest (think of all the methane in farts!) have no right to speak of liberty and freedom.
Go free yourselves first before trying to lecture others about freedom.
It also neatly illustrates the pure performative BS of western obsession of exporting ‘freedom’ and ‘democracy’. How can they export something they don’t even have at home? Western freedoms are just an empty illusion and western democracy is just the means by which western elites enslaved their own populations, and with which they endlessly seek to enslave the rest of the truly free world.
It always better to approach intermediate powers since FIFA world cup is going to be held in Royal Kingdom. It is very similar to learning science implementation from intermediate powers. In my opinion, the best way to make Chinese players more competitive is to try to send young talents to play in the European leagues. This is much harder than it sounds but it had to be done. Many of the international level Japanese, South Korean, and even Uzbek players are playing in Europe. In the Bundesliga of Germany, there are a good number of Japanese and South Korean players playing there.
Importing foreign talents is only a short term fix. The long term fix is to nurture domestic talents. It is a slow and painful process, but it has to be done to make Chinese football truly competitive. Good players breeds confidence and more talents.
There isnt one golden solution. GTA 6 fans are overpaying eBay scalpers for pre-orders despite no shortage
Grand Theft Auto 6 fans are already paying above retail price to pre-order the game through eBay, despite there being no shortage of copies to buy directly.
GTA 6 pre-orders officially opened on June 25, with Rockstar confirming the Standard Edition will cost $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition will cost $99.99. The long-awaited sequel is set to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Rockstar also confirmed that digital pre-loading will begin on November 12. Even the physical edition of GTA 6 is not a traditional disc release, as the boxed version only contains a download code for the game, meaning there is no real scarcity around discs or stock in the usual sense.
Despite that, multiple sold eBay listings show buyers paying well above retail price for GTA 6 pre-orders.
One sold listing for a PS5/Xbox Series X|S pre-order went for $138.20, with an additional $17.03 delivery charge. Another PS5 presale listing from the US sold for $120, plus $9.53 delivery.
Other sold listings show the standard PS5 edition going for $87.90, $93.22 with $20.47 delivery, and $101.19, all above the confirmed $79.99 retail price. One Ultimate Edition listing sold for $101.19, slightly above the $99.99 retail price.
The listings appear to be for pre-orders rather than rare physical stock, making the markup especially unusual. GTA 6 can still be pre-ordered through official digital storefronts, and boxed copies will not include a disc when they arrive in stores.
Rockstar’s physical edition is scheduled to be available from November 12 to support pre-loading, but it will only include a code that can be redeemed for the digital download. Rockstar wrote in the pre-order details for physical editions, “a disk will not be included in the box.”
The situation is another sign of just how massive demand is for GTA 6, even when buyers are effectively paying extra for access to something that is still widely available at retail price.
New modular electric truck has hand crank windows & no radio for under $25k
In the era of electric cars that can do almost anything, one company has taken a completely different approach, showcasing its plans to release an electric truck that has no radio, crank handle windows, and no navigation system for under $25,000.
We’ve got cars that can drive themselves, ones that are built solely out of Lego, and even cars that can fly in 2026, so there’s really no end to what we can do on the roads nowadays. Well, now Slate Auto is looking to completely ignore all the exciting new features many have grown comfortable with.
Instead, they’re stripping back almost every feature of their truck but selling it at a ridiculously low price, with the aim of getting even cheaper.
Electric truck offers DIY kit to turn it into a five-seat SUV
Slate Auto, a Michigan-based carmaker, has revealed its plans to release a two-seater all-electric pickup truck that feels like it comes straight out of the 70s, or perhaps even earlier. While electric cars of today have self-driving, large screens for your music and navigation (or even games if you want), this truck has absolutely none of that.
Instead, it’s advertised as “an affordable vehicle that people love” with some pretty impressive cost-cutting measures, including a lack of exterior paint for customizable $500 vinyl wraps, no radio, no navigation system (only a dashboard mount for your phone), and even a DIY kit that transforms the truck into a five-seat SUV.
Given how stripped back it is, Slate is looking to start selling the trucks for under $25,000, which is a fair amount cheaper than the adverage new electric car.
This could become even cheaper, as Slate has officially been backed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and is actively seeking more suppliers to drop the prices as much as possible.
It’s already proving popular, as Slate’s truck already has more than 160,000 reservations and is looking to deliver them in the 4th quarter of 2026.
So, if you’re looking for some modern tech that takes away all the bells and whistles, you may want to look at this truck, or Commodore’s upcoming phone, which blocks all social media.
