Who cares? China is not korea and not Japan. These two have a ton of players playing in major European leagues so they have the talent from the foreign leagues. Do you see major European leagues running to buy Chinese players? The Chinese team has no talent. They ranked below Palestine in the world cup qualifiers. They need foreign talents. Since no one is gonna buy the Chinese players in Europe that foreign talent and competitiveness has to be brought home to nurture local talent and competitiveness.
Why are you so darn obsessed about this issue? I love football but not at this level.

I mean the politicization of sport is a completely different issue. That doesnt mean you shouldnt get good at sports (including football). Sport is not something of critical importance obviously, it isnt say as important as the semiconductor industry. But it is culture, the same way you dont critically need singers to advance the nation but you still have to be good at it.
Sports is the next evolutionary stage of mass religion in many countries, especially West. Just as religion was manipulated as a tool for controlling society, so is sports.

Obiously most likely the moment China pulls the trigger on Taiwan in the future the west will probably do the same thing they did to Russia to China. China would be completely kicked out of FIFA and the Olympics. At which point in order to maintain the professional level of their athletes China is gonna have to -alongside Russia and the BRICS- create some parallel sports organization.
Russia got kicked out only because the influence within FIFA was dominated by Western sponsors. Also why Israel is not suspended. Current and historical setup is marred with corruption and pro-West favoritism. Now, it is Qatar and Saudis who have become the power bloc with their sponsorship (hence the WC in Qatar and in Saudi 2034), and USA who forced their way in to power threatening with their SWIFT system on which FIFA relies. None of those 3 countries would want Iran to win and it's a miracle they even allowed it to play.

China can easily become the dominant force in FIFA even if the national team underperforms. Just as countries around the world politically had a noose around their neck in the form of SWIFT until the Chinese introduced CIPS, this can sway control out of Western hands if introduced to FIFA and I'm sure most member countries would welcome it. Also, China did have a major FIFA sponsor once - the Wanda Group.

@pmc probably understands this soft power better than anybody.

Honestly a good contender for the American Lada going into the age of EV.
Lada is scientifically very advanced brand for the tasks it is assigned. Not Russian understand it.
Both Lada and Kamaz are Rostec brands.
It is not the tech but the requirements very difficult to attain. when top quality fuel is not available, light weight with high ground clearance. 203mm

Kamaz has won every Off road competition in the world multiple times. and now its Self driving trucks are allowed to cross the border into Kazakhstan. Kamaz CEO started EV venture and the first vehicle it built already has the top of the line torsional rigidity, ADAS, augmented reality, shortest turn radius, and. this battery safety requirements required heavy doors and hence electric power to open it.

Of course the first thing people think of is 9/11, but this has a bit more in common with the case of the former New York Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle who lost control of a small plane and fatally crashed into a building. IMO, it is quite unlikely that a person would believe such a small plane could create an event like 9/11 which used multiple wide body jets. Also, if the airspace in Beijing is highly controlled, then it’s unlikely a prohibited flight would be allowed to carry on for more than a few minutes.
It takes quite a bit longer than "a few minutes" to fly from the edge of restricted airspace over Beijing (anywhere from 6th ring inward) to CITIC Tower at the central of CBD. Although the damage was minimal, this is still a very serious incident that this aircraft even made it so far into Beijing, so serious to the point that atleast one KJ-500 was deployed to the outskirts of Beijing on that day.

KJ-500 spotted in Daxing district, from the road sign it seem to be flying further into downtown

This narrator is the “guy” I was talking about when that video that was posted in here of Tulsi Gabbard blaming Fauci for funding COVID 19 research before the pandemic.

That’s why I was asking if this was AI before and why would a government agency use an AI stand-in when they have the real person?

In this one they just use the voice.

They use this “guy” in everything. Like I mention before I saw “him” in another video pitching how to unclog your pipes with simple household ingredients. What was especially odd for me is why would whoever is behind him use an Asian guy? If you ever studied broadcast communications, the industry is very meticulous down to the minute detail because they’re trying to get the most eyes watching to get people buying what they’re selling.

In the US, how many Asian male news anchors on TV do you see? You don’t see a lot because studies show Asian males don’t attract viewers. Sorry to break it you because I have come across Asian men who somehow think they’re hot stuff for some reason. Like the first Asian guy contestant on the reality show Survivor afterwards made a calendar of himself to sell. Are they using this Asian AI guy because they think he represents trust or something? Then the question is are Asians behind this guy? It would make sense. I don’t know if there’s a store where social media content creators can buy AI narrators for their videos and that’s why you see this one being used but then again why use this plain representation?

There’s others where it’s the same style but there’s something commonly odd about them all. The marker of identifying something created by AI where there’s always something off. They also use people of notoriety. One is Prof Jiang being the odd example. But then he’s gotten famous for his non-traditional style from other Asians that people want to hear when it comes to political topics. Another is economist Jeffery Sachs. They can use his likeness but what they have him say is out of character. He’s not a China basher. You know the anti-China crowd likes to claim they’re winning against China by ganging others up against China. I saw one of these videos where “Jeffrey Sachs” is talking about the G7 meeting that just took place and all the video was of him repeating all the anti-China talking points.

That’s why this should be exposed. Look at how Indians are trying to lie about how there’s a Chinese caste system. Don’t be surprised if you see fake Chinese AI concoctions to spread lies so people think a Chinese person is saying it so it must be true. Just look at how right now the West can get any Chinese to say something the West wants to believe about China so it must be true.

I get that the Chinese league sucks and needs to be more competitive. But ultimately even if there are more foreigners and it's more competitive, that does not mean the local Chinese will get any better. It just becomes a proxy battleground for foreigners to fight.

The premier league is imo the most competitive country league in the world with only regional UEFA being higher. Yet the UK has only won the world cup once. The other stuff like Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1 etc might as well be 2 team leagues for most part. Yet not only have they won UEFA more, they also have won the world cup more times with only Brazil being higher (speaking of which, does anyone even care about the Brazilian league)?

Talking about the league is too high level already imo. What you need to do is go even further down to the basics at real grassroot level. Find out why are Chinese player fundamentals so bad. Start all the way from the bottom and begining. That's how badly the system needs a restructure.

I hope this is not the USIS testing the waters for a future 9/11 style attack, followed by China's war on terror on a ideally USIS preferred middle east country. Such events would have China suffer the same thing the US did, negatively affecting its economy and its reputation throughout the world. Effectively killing two birds with one stone if such evil fantasy comes true.

Even though I agree Iran has been severely mistreated in this world cup, the offsite rule is based on second-to-last defending player not the final player. Since the goal keeper is out the last guy doesn't count.

Iran have a pretty good chance of qualifying depending on how the games go today. I really hope they make it.

Yes, it's the 2nd to last defender. In those graphics they fade out everyone else, including the last defender which is usually the goalie, but in this case the last defender was the guy at the far post.

That was part of the point I was making. It must have taken some time, which means it was likely initially legitimate.

Again, doubtful (not impossible though). The plane is too small, 9/11 was wide bodies. A wide body off course would be a lot more suspicious.
