The ability to detect the hidden but it does not say at what distance and altitude.
The Rostec news sanction is about building smallest anti drone and mobile radars. drones can damage logistics like fuel supply. drones can damage solar panels. everything not reinforced and in open.
only way find progress in Russia radar tech is the range of missiles they are putting on Ka-52M. Hermes now updated to hypersonic class this year and this missile is used for mobile ground targets at considerable distance.

Target destruction is guaranteed

Specialists at the Tula-based Instrument Design Bureau are considering several platforms as carriers for the advanced multipurpose anti-tank missile system. First, the Ka-52A helicopter. It can carry four launchers, each with two anti-tank guided missiles. Theoretically, this number could be doubled.
As mentioned above, the maximum engagement range of the advanced Hermes anti-tank system does not exceed 100 kilometers. Within this range, the ATGM is virtually guaranteed to destroy enemy tanks and armored vehicles, fortifications and engineering structures, and low-speed air and surface targets. The Hermes anti-tank missile system is capable of delivering strikes from indirect and even unprepared positions in both salvo and single-shot modes.

The emerging prospects of hypersonics

The unique technical and technological solutions implemented during the development of the advanced multifunctional anti-tank missile system "Germes" have positioned them as the basis for the creation of a fundamentally new lightweight missile capable of flying at hypersonic speeds. The working title of this project is "Klevok-D2." At least that's what military experts at Izvestia newspaper stated last November after reviewing the technical documentation. This information was indirectly confirmed by sources close to the Russian military-industrial complex.

The early model Ka-52M they mention they can find tanks at unimaginable distance beyond the anti tank missiles. and that Russian updated version of Ka-52K find targets at hundreds of kms. now the export Arablet-AM (Dubai Airshow 2025) radar that has AI and LPI features.

"The radar allows us to locate and identify the type of Ukrainian Armed Forces tanks at a distance exceeding the range of anti-tank missiles. This distance is so great that it's unimaginable. This feature allows for the most effective use of guided anti-tank missiles, such as the Shturm, Ataka, and Vikhr," Sukonkin believes.

The initial Ka-52K they imply that 100km range against Air and Sea targets. and updated radar will double its range.

In the future, the Katran could be equipped with an upgraded radar system, doubling the helicopter's detection range of both naval and aerial targets to approximately 200 kilometers. Once equipped with this new system, the helicopter would be able to use Kh-31AD and Kh-35 anti-ship missiles.

It is worth noting that the Katran, a sea-based helicopter, differs significantly from its land-based counterparts. This is true, for example, of its rotor blade folding mechanism, which completes the task in less than a minute. The Katran's radar can detect a target at a range of 200 kilometers, twice the range of land-based radars. Furthermore, the Katran is protected against moisture
The Reporter newspaper quoted the manufacturer of the Katran helicopter as saying that it can be used, when necessary, to search for and rescue victims and to hunt down enemy submarine

Russian designers, in response to requests from military personnel, have developed the "Prizrak" interceptor drone. The interceptor drone was created as part of the "Prizrak" project. A unique feature of the interceptor drone is that it can be launched not only from a catapult but also by hand. The performance characteristics of the "Prizrak" interceptor drone have not yet been disclosed; however, it is known that the drone is modular. This architecture makes the drone extremely versatile. Operators can flexibly modify the drone's configuration to suit specific missions, installing the necessary warheads and swapping out batteries and cameras. The interceptor drone pursues its target automatically and is ready for operation at any time of day. Equipped with thermal imagers and night vision devices, the "Prizrak" interceptor drone is capable of effectively performing missions even in poor weather. When technical details become available, they will be added to the video description.

The "High-Precision Complexes" holding of the Rostec State Corporation has supplied the Russian Defense Ministry with another batch of "Krasnopol-M2" guided artillery shells.

During the special military operation, the "Krasnopol-M2" successfully hit thousands of targets, including self-propelled artillery installations, tanks, BMPs and other armored vehicles. The "Krasnopol" has destroyed fire points, fortifications, command posts, temporary dislocation and UAV control points, bridges, crossings and other targets.

"Rostec State Corporation enterprises produce a wide range of guided munitions. The "Krasnopol-M2" shell, which is actively used during the special military operation, is distinguished by high efficiency and exceptional accuracy even at maximum ranges. With a precise hit, it is capable of disabling important enemy targets. At the same time, firing the "Krasnopol-M2" guided shell can be carried out both from self-propelled howitzers and from towed guns from closed firing positions," noted in Rostec.

The use of the complex is ensured by regular artillery units and does not impose additional requirements for the equipment of firing positions and command-observation posts.
