They called balloon internet as pioneering tech. Balloon flies 20 to 30km height (real altitude maybe higher). that only expensive missiles can intercept (I presume Thaad). Advantage is no need for space launch vehicle.
Russia space internet need less than 300 satellites and few dozen space launches. imagine if this balloon flies over oceans and control Sea and Sub drones.
The channel also explained that the developers plan to create an integrated system, not just a single balloon, where a group of balloons spread over a specific area will form a unified communications network, providing the Russian military forces in that area with a stable communication channel to coordinate operations, conduct reconnaissance, and control drones

I don't speak Russian, but I understood it to be about a contract for 48 KA-52s for a foreign customer listed as customer "156." According to the All-Russian Classifier of Countries of the World (OKSM), code 156 corresponds to China (People's Republic of China).

The Russian Engineering Troops have adopted the UBIM engineering vehicle. This versatile armored engineering vehicle was developed by Uralvagonzavod and can perform the functions of three engineering vehicles. The UBIM engineering vehicle can serve as an armored repair and recovery vehicle, an engineering obstacle clearing vehicle, and an armored mine-clearing vehicle. The UBIM is designed to recover heavy equipment, clear obstacles, and clear passages through minefields. The vehicle is equipped with enhanced armor and radiation protection modules, a surveillance system with a thermal imager, a television channel, and a laser rangefinder. The armored vehicle is armed with a 12.7mm machine gun, smoke screen systems, and thermal smoke apparatus. The UBIM engineering vehicle is based on the T-90M Proryv tank and has an 1,130-horsepower engine. The vehicle has a top speed of 60 km/h and a cruising range of 500 km. The UBIM accommodates a crew consisting of a commander, a driver-mechanic and three sappers.

MOSCOW, March 19. /TASS/. All nuclear-powered submarines of the Russian Navy will be replaced by Project 885/885M (Yasen/Yasen-M) submarines within the next 10 years, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Admiral Alexander Moiseyev said.

"Regarding multipurpose submarines, the primary project going forward – the Yasen/YasenM, designed by the Malakhit Design Bureau of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) – will replace all third-generation submarines currently in the Navy’s inventory within the next decade: Projects 971, 945, and 949," Moiseyev noted in an interview with the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.

At one level, this was inevitable and therefore unsurprising. It implies a future Russian SSN/SSGN force of at most a dozen boats. Yet that this reality has now been clearly acknowledged is a positive development, because it means that it can therefore be planned for with some level of efficiency, rather than continuing to devote resources to dubious refits and sustainment of Cold War-era platforms.

The only wrinkle is one I flagged some months ago, namely that Russian SSN orders have actually slowed in recent years, not increased. Given the lengthy production pipeline, any additional boats that are anticipated to be in service a decade from now will need to be ordered shortly.

This is his requirements as Naval commander. but look at technological direction.
Tactical fighters like Su-34 with huge fuel tanks and newest missiles can do intercontinental range strikes. and they are far numerous and distributed.
Tu-160M2 is full fledged near Space Ship with 360 degree survellence, electronic attack and speed higher than 5G fighters with AAMs that can have hundreds of kms range. I will not be surprized if Tu-160 dropping UUV sea/sub drones that pray on target and air drones just like drones are integrated with SU-57.
PAK-DA 6G based on speculation 30 hours loiter time and 30 ton payload. bomber engines are finally comparable to Civil airliners in life span.
All this control from Balloons and space control system.
subs have importance but if even SSK and Corvettes can have thousands of kms range missiles than importance of large sub except SLBM launchers become less.

This is another project of satellite communication and data.

They are expecting 15% more power and increase fuel efficiency for PD-8V. but it does not say how much lighter in materials the actual new Mi-26 or the engine.
Mi-38 has twice the range of Mi-8 when both are equipped with external fuel tank with Mi-38 over 300km/hr speed.

The PD-8V will replace the D-136 engines and will be a fully Russian-made powerplant with a digital control system. Development is scheduled for completion in 2031. The PD-8V is expected to be 15% more powerful and offer improved fuel efficiency.
The engine is based on the PD-8 core, whose certification flight tests on the SJ-100 aircraft are nearing completion. Using a previously used hot section reduces the scope of development testing, mitigates technical risks, and simplifies production and service deployment.

The PD-8V turboshaft design features a free turbine to transmit power to the main rotor gearbox and a power takeoff path optimized for helicopter operation modes, including hovering and peak power operation. The engine is equipped with a FADEC digital control system, ensuring stable parameters in all operating modes.

On June 23, 2023, Vadim Badekha, then UEC CEO, announced the start of work on the PD-8V at the opening of the Design Development and Scientific Research Center in Samara. He noted the digital architecture of the control system and the potential for developing a domestic helicopter engine based on the PD-8 gas generator.
