I think this is the most rational scenario, but this is Trump we're talking about. If he was that rational, he wouldn't have started this war in the first place.

I don't know, Lebanon is worth way less to Iran than the "Straight" to US/GCC. Also, invading Lebanon is going to be another PR disaster for Trump.

Regarding the 5 year freeze of Iranian Ballistic Missile program. It's certainly a huge step back than the Coalition demands towards Iraq after the 91 Gulf War. This has the possibility of the US fully recognizing Iranian Ballistic Missiles as non-negotiable and potentially backstabbing the Israeli side in a huge turn around and payback for "tricking" Trump into what could potentially be a never ending war.

The longer Iran lasts, the better the terms for negotiation. If we apply the Rocky analogy they are at round 3 right now and Apollo Creed is getting really ticked off since the match should’ve finished by round 2. The worst pummeling are yet to come, and it is important that they keep it together until energy shortage causes real pain in global economic system.

Israel, out of anger for what has taken place in the Middle East, has violently lashed out at a major facility known as South Pars Gas Field in Iran. A relatively small section of the whole has been hit. The United States knew nothing about this particular attack, and the country of Qatar was in no way, shape, or form, involved with it, nor did it have any idea that it was going to happen. Unfortunately, Iran did not know this, or any of the pertinent facts pertaining to the South Pars attack, and unjustifiably and unfairly attacked a portion of Qatar’s LNG Gas facility. NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL pertaining to this extremely important and valuable South Pars Field unless Iran unwisely decides to attack a very innocent, in this case, Qatar - In which instance the United States of America, with or without the help or consent of Israel, will massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars Gas Field at an amount of strength and power that Iran has never seen or witnessed before. I do not want to authorize this level of violence and destruction because of the long term implications that it will have on the future of Iran, but if Qatar’s LNG is again attacked, I will not hesitate to do so. Qatar is the biggest snake of the region . Having close ties to Iran and helping them bypass US/Western sanctions , while having the largest US base in the region at the same time , poking Israel by hosting hamas leadership and having trouble ties with the big brother KSA and her other gulf Arab states, good ties with Turkey for her interests etc. That small country has probably had the most shrewd leader in the world . They play all sides (that’s how geo politics should be played).
However they didn’t account for Israel really going after Iran directly and pushing the US along to do so successfully . That was their only miscalculation I think, but it was out of thi control/hamd. I still think they have played heir cards right from a geo political perspective
