Much like BRICS, SCO is a waste of time and China is just giving it lip service. India should be considered an active saboteur to manage expectations.

Any organisation India joins is ruined. This is Russia’s fault for constantly wanting India included in these organisations. China should use BRI to deal bilaterally with countries and forget about BRICS and SCO. BRICS and SCO are irrelevant without China.

If there is one thing China should use its leverages on Russia is to force Russia to agree to kicking India out in both organizations. If Russia does not agree China can remind Russia how their economy is clinging on a fine thread made in China

According to sources in Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate (HUR), Moscow is set to host around 600 Chinese military personnel in 2025 for training at Russian Armed Forces bases and military centers. “The Kremlin has decided to allow Chinese military personnel to study and adopt the combat experience Russia has gained in its war against Ukraine,” a HUR source told Kyiv Post. The Chinese servicemen will be trained to counter Western weaponry, with a focus on preparing tank operators, artillerymen, engineers, and air defense specialists.

I fully blame the Russians to want India included. Russia is not the world power it portrays to everyone pretending they are still as powerful as the Soviet Union. Russians still fear China which is why they always want India included in anything that has China. Russian geopolitical moves have been terrible. What exactly does Russia offer China apart from energy? Even oil and gas demand in China will fall with the rise of EVs and Solar.

Next time Russia tries to talk China into allowing India into any more groups, China should just wave this photo into front of their eyes and ask have they managed to spend those worthless rupees yet.

Russia really has a lot of nerve. India tried to betray it when things were not initially looking good for Russia but China never abandoned it. In fact once China makes investments in countries, it will see things through. China despite having an arms length distance from Iran, never went against it and condemned Israel while India thought Iran wouldn't make it and didn't condemn Israel. Like Russia, Iran better get its head screwed on tight soon.
