Trump isn't smart, intellectual by any means but he DOES have a natural predator's instinct for sensing weakness/vulnerabilities in his victims/MAGA masses and will instinctively say/do things to appeal to that weakness in order to get what he wants-votes/money -along with his malignant narcissusum,greed,sociopathic/psychopathic psyche-he is formidable in that regard and can't be underestimated in any regard. He's no ordinary human being-thankfully he's aging/declining rapidly-dementia et al.

More like US Politics have devolved into the adult version of Mean Girls where popularity must be maintained via appeals to the lowest common denominator.

Trump's base was slightly anti-intellectual by default but they would have accepted it as common sense to take advice from the CDC for a viral pandemic. His base became strongly anti-intellectual because he made them that way, told them that the CDC was the enemy, that masks were for weak people and traitors, vaccines give people autism. It's entirely self-inflicted damage stemming from his stupidity. The only way this could be portrayed as cunning is if Trump were a foreign asset whose job was to damage America.
The vaccines giving people autism has been growing for a long time. Long before Trump.
Trump merely tapped into that.
Anti-intellectualism is very strong in America, ostracizing of "nerds", mockery of higher education ("university is useless"), etc.

Dude still thinks that China is stuck in the 1990s or 2000s lmfao

Even by assuming that all the fighters, special mission aircrafts, radars, sensors and SAM systems suddenly go kaput for no reason whatsoever - That Western Hills bunker complex is built underneath mountains for good reasons. But I suppose those are too hard for this old brainlet to figure out.

Don't wake him up. Let him live in his own world.

Goodby, Mossad's IAEA spies.

What trade deal? Probably just a framework. China should keep the choke-hold of rare earths considering the economic predicaments the Trump regime is facing.

China Is Still Choking Exports of Rare Earths Despite Pact With U.S.

BTW, China should convert most of its holdings of US Treasuries into gold.

For such a huge win, they're awfully mum on the details of the trade deal. Kind of flys in contrast to all the pandemonium on here two weeks ago about how China had surrendered.

But I thought the SeeSeePee has a blanket censor on any negative news? What’s there to worry about?
Yeah but there are people in the world who will only listen to US media and not Chinese media. So Trump has to help Xi keep those people in the dark too. Also that way Chinese jumping the GFW won't be able to see it in NYT, etc. That's how good friends do.
