When was this photo taken? Are these recent adaptations of qmk scopes
I'm interested in knowing that too. My QMK, like the ones pictured, doesn't have the steel cylindrical mount on the underside the optic for interfacing with the proprietary Type 95 rail mount. That's incorporated into the mount itself now. It uses a clever ratcheting system for tightening, which I like. That being said, the mount I have is dated October of 2019. I think it varies by the manufacturer. For example, some QMK's don't have the purge valve on the side, like the one picture:

Damn, if that's an upgraded Type 79 why even call it that anymore? I don't see any commonality with the Type 79 at all. Might as well give it a new designation....
Slapping ergonomic kit on it, this is the equivalence of the Spetnaz Alpha Group kitted out AK-105

Modernization kits for the venerable Type 79 submachine gun. Made of aluminum alloy and carbon fiber composite parts, the kits weighs around 560 grams or less. Assembly and disassembly can be accomplished entirely by hand in under 20 seconds.

What is the point of adding an ar15 style mag well? Just so it looks cool?
