Elon complaining about X not in China. Maybe China should complain about their EV's not in US.

I guess partially Musk wanted to show he is not pro China outright. And what he said is actually known to all concerned parties, not like he is actually criticizing the Chinese government with some new claims. That would at least enhance his statue inside the incoming admin. Last but not the least, it certainly is not going to hurt if he somehow get X available in mainland China, which would probably make him the first trillionare on earth.

You know Trump hasn't sign anything, he's not even president yet.
The fact that TikTok is online now is in fact a direct violation of US law, passed by congress, confirmed 9-0 by supreme court.
That's some crazy shit. Seen as 90 days extension is contingent on negotiation proceeding for a sale, and the president gets to decide if that's happening or not, Trump could just trust me bro 100% guarantee and say anything, seen as him and TT are already getting away with breaking the law.

Not only that. TikTok's service providers are also in "direct violation" of such law. Meaning, Apple, Google, Oracle etc are "on the hook" for harsh financial punishment if enforced. They are able to provide services to TT and not subject to this banning law indicating there must be some behind-scene political wrestling going on between the lawmakers (even they are the ones enacted this law), not just Trump himself.
