Good for them.

Say, what are the betting odds on the future leadership of technology with the Chinese eco-system going up against India 2.0 in the US? Can we say "slam dunk"?

That's not a position of power. They were chosen because they are mentally weak and disloyal to their country. Like the Star Wars clones, they were made/chosen for their docile and controllable nature. Fiercer, more talented fighters with diverse attributes were feared to be too difficult to control and submit. The Chinese produce much better results but they are not chosen for fear that they will strengthen their own country with their experiences. It's too late for that.

Better question to ask is why is there a wall at the end of the runway? It should be empty space for some distance for precisely these types of events. Unless ofcourse the runway is very long and the pilot overshot it initially.

none of it you wrote is is correct.
Saudis are educated in US and that mean they actually learned and understand things all the way back to creation of current Saudi states from 1920s that i already posted with links. the confusion comes from Saudi relations with Jews which other automatically associated with US. Jews did a favor to West because of there fall out with Russian empire but this time Arabs are ensuring things turn out differently and in process many countries can be Royally shafted. this line automatically assume that America and China does not have much influence with Saudi. there is whole lot of mistakes that Russia made with Arabs/ Israelis and that you can blame it with its Soviet baggage/Lavrov but Gulf Arabs still giving it opportunity.

You know it's funny. We are in the age of computers, ai, machinery etc.

But I think the most valuable commodity right now is human talent.

Now more than ever, there are opportunities for one man to change the course of history. For example the man who can discover who to turn salt water into nuclear fusion for his country. Or maybe that's a huge stretch so instead the talented people who can keep their country at a technological edge of others.

It's why this world is very cruel to the haves and have nots of talents. Those who do not have talent are simply side characters who's fates will be controlled by a country with more talented people.

So technically speaking the most valuable commodities wouldn be STEM PhDs etc which is why China is recruiting so many of them. America is pretty stupid in that sense because it wants to ban the export of semiconductors technology to China but not the Chinese STEM guys who might come up with a better way altogether to win the tech war.

The US knows about the need for talent yet is going the wrong way. What they end up with are a bunch of scammers who abuse stuff like H1B for nepotistic purposes and to make the bottom line look better.
