I mean, Georgan president is a literal French diplomat and they literally fought to block foreign influence law and EU was all for it, it takes very out of touch people to buy this cancel election because winner was on TikTok narrative, and if Romanians were out of touch they would have voted the "right" person to begin with.
This is probabbly the worst thing you can do as EU really, even blatent election rigging would look better since that just delegitmize yourself but it doesnt legitmize the opponent.
This has the potentially to turn into something much bigger in the future, since this is the first time ever that the system itself was exposed as fradulant. To rig an election is saying I cant win, but to cancel an election after wrong person wins is like saying you can never win, its saying there was and will never be any democracy
The west really have no idea how similar they are to the Soviets right now. Bread and circus, if you have those all faults can be forgiven, but without those, everything is your fault

unfortunately for him, Bashar Al-Assad isn't Assad Sr. Politics isn't about raw IQ, there's cunning and ruthlessness involved. Assad Jr. should've stayed an army medic, maybe he would've been good as Minister of Health or even Minister of Defense, but he is not suited for the big job.
