When you have a market of 1.4 billion people, it's a big loss not being able to sell to it again. I was talking to my friend whose partner owns a soybean farm in Iowa. She just came back from visiting the farm and those famers out there are in complete denial. They think US farmers just have to hold out a little while longer before China gives up and buy their soybeans again. They don't seem to know that China is buying most of their soybeans from Brazil now. China just cancelled a large amount of wheat from the US. The US is perplexed where China is getting wheat from when its reserves are nearly full. Of course they think it's Russian but because Russia is not using the dollar to pay for it, the US has lost their way of tracking who's buying what. This info was important because that's how they determine what crops and how much to grow the next season. Now it's a guessing game and a lot of their crops they grow might go to waste if they don't have the customer to buy it. Farmers are big Trump supporters so the only reason why they're still loyal to the man that caused all their troubles has to be because when push comes to shove they think he's going force China to buy US agriculture. That's the American way. Don't believe that American consumerism bull where the customer is always right. That's only for white people. Everyone else they get to order you on what you're going to buy.
