With the way Europe is going down on the road to irrelevance because they ain't real players in the world like claiming they're up their on top with AI when they're not... Europe has become an organization of 1st world welfare countries. They're going to fine, sue, tax, and tariff other countries that are more successful than they are in sectors where they're not players. Look at how they tried to tax all airlines of the world for pollution even ones that didn't flyover Europe. They want international regulation on AI. They demanded China give them their electric vehicle technology without getting anything in return. Woke gaming consultants are an issue now. Guess where they're headquartered? Canada and Great Britain. England, where they also want rape in the metaverse where avatars are just floating torsos to be the same as raping people in real life having that same mentality where they want to regulate things they're not masters of. It doesn't seem like a coincidence that what characters they want in computer games happen to look like the performers at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony. Where are their social media companies so they don't have to use someone else's? They had their own cell phones but no smartphones? Plenty of elitist liberals in the US would love to use and buy a European version.
Against US though? While I suppose all the massive investments into strategic defenses and space weapons are aimed at US, I believe it is a very long term project more aimed at generally improving tech and then see where they end up, like how Mao's government already started putting down the foundations for railguns, lasers and stealth. Not such an imminent concern they are taking action within a decade.

The angel on my should says Fvck India! The Devil on my other shoulder says overcharge India to hell for Chinese technology because they still won't be able to do anything with it. If India hasn't beat China by now with their so-called advantages they claim to have over China, it's because they're incapable to do so.
They couldn't even do anything with British technology that was the best in the world at that time, despite being a part of Britain. While China warred with every western power in their path from the betrayal of corrupt warlords leading to defeat against the 8 nation alliance, up to expelling US in Korea and Vietnam, and is/was hated by all western powers for this history.
Yet China still stands as the largest economy and single strongest advanced country today, while being hated and counteracted at every turn by most other advanced countries.
India can borrow any technology products from China, first they would need to learn how to replicate 1800s British infrastructure technology.
