Think of the olympics as how the common people use history as a standard to determine pecking order in human relations. In the same way Western Europeans pointed to imperialism and colonialism to express their implicit assumed genetic and racial superiority over the colonised peoples (and why nazism and hitlerism still persists), western people use the Olympics the same way nazi germany wanted to showcase the olympics: as a demonstration of racial superiority and therefore the right to rule, the right of western Anglo Americans to rule over all other races.

Technically she is a Sargeant Major in the Army. She is an NCO not an officer.
