tbh I see the whole Olympics obsession as pathetic and cringe. I mean, I get it, for some entertainment it's ok, but when you see people even in this forum getting so obsessed with it, it's sad.

with so many posts and fights, you would thing a new military technology was developed or that new advanced semiconductor equipment was developed.

For all I care US can win 100 - 0 in gold medals count. These records are worthless and trash except to quickly satisfy a few bursts of patriotism, that's it

This is sports we are talking about, and sport fans are fanatics.

That is where the term fan comes from, aka fanatic.

So when we enjoy the game, we know that some others will really enjoy the game.

Best to watch, and sometimes get out of the way. LOL.

These fights in the stands, that is not part of the game, but totally unsurprising. It is all just part and parcel for sporting events. The Olympics included. With the medal tables with national flags of South Korea and Zimbabwe side by side, we have to expect the nationalism to whip itself up. It is all a natural and organic process.

By the way, I love these football fights in the stands. Often that is more physical than the action on the field.

A prime candidate for a honey trap especially if the guy is gay as hinted. For all the pro lgbt promotion, the uk defence forces are still pretty old fashioned and stuffy especially the officer class.
You mean people like Nelson, Beatty, or Jellicoe could have been gay? The woke LGBTQ community would be ecstatic to hear that. LOL!

Exactly as for Nelson lol the RN had a policy banning gay stuff for only a couple of weeks into a voyage, after that it was open season lol. Why do you think they always took young teenage boys with them on voyages

NYT is accusing China of doing what America does best:

No NYT, unlike you Americans, the Chinese (including Tibetan and Uighurs) are natives of their own lands. They shall settle anywhere they like on Chinese soil. They are now actively settling on the frontiers to block out those those loincloth imperialists from the south of the Himalayas from squatting on ancient Chinese land.

Those loincloth imperialists and you Americans are very much alike. Both of you like to use religion to justify your expansionism:

(Estonia) mulling ‘prison Airbnb’ plan

Estonia is considering renting out prison beds to other countries to cut operating costs, public broadcaster ERR reported on Tuesday, citing a proposal by Justice Minister Liisa-Ly Pakosta.

The Baltic nation’s Prisons Department could contribute to government efforts to reduce the budget, either by cutting its expenses or boosting revenues, the minister told the broadcaster.

Pakosta’s suggestions range from selling off or mothballing one of the country’s three prisons, to leasing it out or filling cells with foreign inmates and “doing Airbnb, figuratively speaking,” she explained.

Estonia currently has a total prison capacity of 3,334 beds and an inmate population of 1,841, the report explained. The number of prisoners has dropped by some 1,250 since 2014, Pakosta stated, claiming that the change was down to Estonians becoming increasingly law-abiding.

Other European countries have previously taken on foreign convicts, including in the Netherlands, which shared its excessive capacity with overcrowded Norway a decade ago. The British government last year reportedly asked nations on the continent, including Norway and Belgium, to host some of its prisoners. Such deals historically involved dozens of inmates and annual rent payments measured in millions of euros.

If the Estonian government opts for downsizing the Prisons Department instead, one of its facilities will likely be sold to a private investor, the justice minister told ERR. All the prisons in the country are relatively new. Their floor plans are similar to what a social housing unit or hotel would require, Pakosta said.

Same People behind Arabian American Oil company in 1930s. you just need to read correct literature.
Europe had much larger population than Africa and North America in previous centuries. and if you look closely this recent French and Morocco conflict it was not Algeria that was kicking around French in Africa or using Israeli tech to spy on them or that Beirut problem because Macron was too much talking to a Lebanese Journalist. but French had this humiliating climb down in favor of Morocco. if Europeans used African help in past colonizing other continents than expect Arabs to do it in same way when there time comes.

In April 1940, within a month of the passage of the Lahore Resolution, Crown Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud visited Karachi. He was warmly welcomed by towering Muslim League figures including M.A.H. Ispahani, M.A. Maniar, and Karim Bhai Ibrahim. He was accompanied by a large delegation, including his five brothers. Two of them, Prince Faisal and Prince Fahd, were to become the future kings of Saudi Arabia.
