Nope. The maximum width of a ship transiting the Panama canal cannot be more than 106 ft or 32.3 m in width. the beam of the hull on CV-16 is 115 ft or 35 m.
One other thing .. I don't think China would send CV-16 far from her home waters. The PLAN logistics to support such a deployment are limited.

I wonder if we will soon see a carrier pass through..I'm thinking of USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) which is due to transfer back to the Pacific Fleet this year after a four year stay in Newport news VA undergoing RCOH.

I do not know if the flight deck overhang is a problem?
Could a carrier with an angle deck could pass through.. that includes Liaoning??..I'd have to see pictures of the new canal to make any judgement.
Realistically.. I don't think the USN would try to transit a nuclear carrier through the Panama Canal.
