After putting the Type 15 through rigorous use in high altitude environment there has been feedback on some reliability issues associated with the suspension system. Looks like they'll need to improve accordingly going forward.
Wonder if the thin air messed up the pneumatic of the hydro-pneumatic, sometimes it messes with sensors.

Why would it mess with hydro-pneumatic system? This could just be a simple mechanical breakdown and the PLA showing that they have recovery capability.
Don't read to much into a set of images. They are cool in the fact that they show the recovery of the tanka nd the quick in the field removal of the engine/transmission pack to conduct repairs. that in itself is something.

I mean they probably do regular exercises and the ZTQ-15 is also likely to be driven at rather high speed, not to mention the 'road'(often likely offroad) quality up there might not be really that good.

If anything, it really likely isn't a major problem, but just an area that needs improvement, which will happen.

It says it failed in high altitude, hydropneumatic suspension is relatively new for China and is known for being difficult and messy to deal with. If there is say an air pump that allows for an adjustment to the level of variance for the suspension, then it would not be out of the question for this component to malfunction in a low pressure environment. They dont explain how it failed so im just guessing here.

huh? I thought ZTQ-15 uses bog standard torsion bar?

And let's not forget ZBD-05 has been using hydropneumatic suspension for many years. China definitely have enough operational experience for it.
