Looks like on the left side (in a crewmans perspective) is the normal running/headlight. The right side is a blackout drive light.^^^Cover for one of the headlights is missing, or is that something else?
No redundancy though?

Could be simulating the Golan Heights. Not sure what they're doing here. Perhaps some kind of obstacle course for honing tank driving skills?
I would think driver & commander obstacle awareness training (avoid driving over the larger boulder since they will lift up the front and expose your vulnerable belly an also raise your vulnerable sides so they can be more easily targeted).Could be simulating the Golan Heights.
You can’t avoid the boulders if they are everywhere. There are entire areas like this in the Golan Heights that Israeli tanks excel in.I would think driver & commander obstacle awareness training (avoid driving over the larger boulder since they will lift up the front and expose your vulnerable belly an also raise your vulnerable sides so they can be more easily targeted).
The run should be camera recorded and then played to show commander a driver where they made mistakes.
I agree ... but you should be made aware of the risc to you, your vehicle and your crew of moving your tracks over a serious boulder if you can avoid it!You can’t avoid the boulders if they are everywhere. There are entire areas like this in the Golan Heights that Israeli tanks excel in.
