Indeed, which engines could it be using? A helo of that class would need close to 2000 hp engines. What turboshaft of said class can china produce?

I would say either a copy of the Blackhawk drivetrain that they have at hand... or one from the Super Frelon ( sorry... Z-8) or Hip...
But Deino must know more than me about that....

haha, I forgot to say the biggest thing about the new photo. The PLAF insignia. I think it means Z-20 is in the LRIP or early adoption process in the hands of unit of writing "operation manual".

And the background indicted the photos were taken during the summer (2016?)

Hmmm, the rear wheel at that location suggests against a folding version, since on the SH-60 the fold is forward of that wheel. Either that or they will have to redesign/move the rear wheel for a naval variant.
