So Z20F has finally entered service?


No, those assigned to the PLAAF at Hongkong (Z-20KH) or the Airborne Force (K/KA/KS). AFAIK the naval variants are not yet in service

So that's a rescue winch not a dipping sonar? To me, it looks more like a sonar and appears to be coming from under the fuselage, not the side.

Edit: Although I notice the nose radome rather than large under-cockpit radar used on Z20F.

It is easy to see that it is not a naval variant by looking at the rear landing gear.

Here is the naval variant. The rear landing gear is placed at the end of the cabin due to the tail boom needs to be folded.

The large radar radome isn't a safe way to distinguish, I am sure some naval variant won't have it such as marine transport and rescure.
