I notice the helos do carry JW-1 "hot Brick" IR jammer.
during the desert storm, brit. helos carry two "hot brick" type IRCM ,MAW and decoy flares.

most of WZ-10 in the website do not carry IRCM "hot brick" and ,chaff/flare dispenser. but I do see MAW located in near the 30mm gun turrent and possible Laser warning receiver near the exchaust.
US already have plan to equip there apache with direct energy IRCM,traditional jamming method such as "hot brick" IRCM amd flare are complete useless against new gen. of MANPAD such SA-16 or stinger.all of apache shoot down in iraq carry Hot brick,MAW and flares ,but does not prevent it being brought down by SA-16.

On Chinese military BBS "Chen guan" is the nickname for WZ-10 due to WZ-10's fierce firepowers. This is somehow related to Chen guan's "fierce combat capabilities" when they are dealing with street vendors/merchants.
